OUR SERVICES
Our firewood ministry provides one pickup truck load a month from November through March to families in need.
Project Crossroad can always use help cutting, splitting, stacking, and delivering firewood as this is a year-round task. It is a great weekend mission opportunity for individuals, families, and groups of all ages!
To request firewood assistance call or email us from October through March. Wood deliveries in February and March are subject to availability.

HOME REHAB & REPAIRS
Through our summer home rehab, electrical and plumbing repairs, we make homes safe, healthy, and accessible for families who are low-income, elderly, or have disabilities.
For groups looking to serve with us through home rehab and repairs, we will match your skill set and group size to be Christ’s hands and feet in our community. Projects can range from a few days to a few weeks!
Call the office for details on how to apply.
We serve as a depot and district coordinator for the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church disaster response. We collect and store UMCOR kits and distribute those to communities in need across the region.
UMCOR kit assembly makes great group and congregational mission projects. We can arrange pick-up services for assembled kits. Instructions for assembly are linked below.

WARREN FAMILY THANKSGIVING MEAL
One of the very first community outreach programs we offered was holiday meals. Every year since 1989, we have offered a Thanksgiving meal to anyone looking for food and fellowship. We provide delivery, eat-in, and take-out options. Watch our social media for details each year.
We accept donations of used furniture and working appliances to regift to the community as needs arise. We provide pickup and delivery services.
SMYTH COUNTY FOOD PROGRAMS
While we don’t sponsor regular food assistance, many partner agencies in the county do. Hit the resource links in the header to discover the available resources across Smyth County.
